Which liquid is heavier?
We approach this question understanding a basic principle: an object floating in a liquid displaces the amount of liquid equal to the object's weight. We can see that the boats in picture A and B are identical. Since, boat B has displaced less of the liquid, it means that the liquid is heavier.
A great way to think about it, is picturing a wooden boat floating in both honey and water. The boat which is in the honey will float higher in the liquid because it displaces less volume.
